9 days to go deeper in experiencing God’s heart for you and his heart for the world. Our annual discipleship school in France is the heartbeat of everything we do. Taking place at ‘Bethanie;’ an old converted cider farm set in 5 acres of countryside in Normandy and equipped with a large guest house, a prayer room, and the “apple barn” - our communal eating space - Bethanie is a place that will change your heart forever.
Our days are spent embracing a rhythm of prayer and worship, table fellowship and creativity. With a variety of creative workshops in songwriting, art, photography, poetry, pottery and more we grow in craft, community and connection.

Information
Our 2025 school runs from 4–13 July and is aimed at those in their 20s and 30s.. Participants should arrive on 4 July and depart on 13 July. Once accepted onto the school we are more than happy to advise the best travel options.
Cost: 950 Euros per person. This fee includes accommodation, daily breakfast, lunch and dinner, and all workshops and Atelier programme activities including art materials. Full payment is required by the end of May. Travel to and from France is not included and must be arranged by participants; we are happy to advise on recommended travel options. If the program cost is a barrier, please get in touch. Subject to available funds, we may be able to offer one or two reduced-fee places through a scholarship.
Accommodation: All students stay on site at Bethanie. Bedrooms are shared in the Bethanie Farm house and may include bunk beds, twin beds, or multiple single beds. Guests are asked to respect the privacy and personal belongings of their roommates, observe quiet hours, and follow any posted house rules regarding visitors, noise, and cleanliness.
You do not need to identify as an “artist” to apply. The school is open to anyone interested in the intersection between creativity, prayer, art and spiritual formation.

Alumni Retreat
We are pleased to host an Atelier alumni retreat at Bethanie this year. The program will follow the established Bethanie and Atelier rhythms of prayer, worship, and creative practice, as well as teaching sessions. Deliberate time will be set aside to share personal stories, linger round the table and pray for one another. The schedule will allow for greater margin than our usual summer school format.
Cost: 600 EUR per person.
